is a research practice. It studies how shared places like a nursery, a ruin, a mountain or a place of prayer hold memory, and asks what architecture could be if it started there.
Most of the work here is unbuilt: prototypes, proposals, questions drawn at full scale. Some will never be built, and they aren’t meant to be. They are made to be tested, argued with and carried forward.

The Floating Retreat

A study in suspension. Small rooms hung from the cliff face, reached by a light bridge, open from November to May. What does it mean to sleep on a mountain without owning it? Developed with Shurooq.

Usually 10–15% of the construction cost. It depends on how complex the project is, and the bigger the project, the lower the percentage. Send me a quick note about your project and I’ll give you a clear number.
عادةً بين ١٠ و١٥٪ من كلفة البناء، بحسب تعقيد المشروع؛ وكلما كبر المشروع قلّت النسبة. أرسل لي نبذةً قصيرة عن مشروعك، وسأعطيك رقمًا واضحًا.
How does the process work?كيف تسير العملية؟
It starts with a conversation, then a short brief, a concept, and detailed design and drawings. You approve each stage before the next one begins.
تبدأ بحديث، ثم موجزٍ قصير، ففكرةٍ أوّليّة، ثم تصميمٍ تفصيلي ورسومات. توافق على كل مرحلة قبل أن تبدأ التي تليها.
How long does a project take?كم يستغرق المشروع؟
A concept usually takes about 1 week. Full drawings take about 2 months, depending on size.
الفكرة الأوّليّة تستغرق عادةً أسبوعًا تقريبًا، والرسومات الكاملة نحو شهرين، بحسب الحجم.
Do you work outside Abu Dhabi?هل تعمل خارج أبوظبي؟
Yes, anywhere in the UAE, and abroad when the project is right.

A location or plot plan if you have one, and a few lines on how you want to live in or use the space.
